Experience
Amirtheyeswary MCPirapu or better known as Amirtha, obtained her LLB (Hons) degree from University of London (External Programme) in 1997 and obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice in 1998. She was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in January 1999.
Before joining the Firm in the year 2007, she practiced in another firm of solicitors in Kuala Lumpur handling disputed contracts pertaining to industrial hire purchase and equipment lease as well as credit card fraud claims. She joined the partnership in January 2015.
She has wide and varied experience in civil litigation and contested matters relating to banking and commercial law, bankruptcy and winding-up proceedings, contentious land disputes, employment and industrial law, construction contracts, commercial and residential tenancies and contentions probate and administration matters. She leads regularly in High Court trials, appeals and applications before the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.
